Infringements
Traffic fines against vehicles and drivers — recording the notice, nominating the driver, paying, disputing or waiving it, and what is open or overdue.
Fleet → Infringements (/operations/fleet/infringements). Traffic fines, newest offence first. The page opens on the fines that still need action.
Summary
Section titled “Summary”- Open: fines that are Received, Nominated or Disputed.
- Overdue: open fines whose due date has passed. Their due date is shown in red.
- Open amount: the total of the open fines.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Status is Open (received, nominated, disputed) by default. Choose All or a single status instead. Vehicle narrows to one vehicle. Click Apply. Export CSV downloads every fine that matches.
A vehicle’s fines are also on its own page, under Infringements & NCR.
Adding and editing a fine
Section titled “Adding and editing a fine”Add infringement opens the form; the pencil on a row opens it filled in. Operations and Admin accounts only.
- Offence date and Offence (what it was for, such as Exceed speed limit by 10 km/h) are required.
- Name who it is for: a Vehicle, a Driver, or both. If the driver is not in Onyx — someone who has since left, say — type their Driver name instead.
- Time, Location, Issued by, Notice no, Amount ($) and Demerit points (0 to 20) are optional.
- Due, Nominated on and Paid on track the notice. Nominated and paid dates cannot be before the offence.
- Notice / photos (optional): attach the notice. The paperclips on a row open the files.
If something is wrong, the form says which field and keeps what you typed.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Received → Nominated or Disputed → Paid or Waived → Closed.
- Received: the notice has arrived.
- Nominated: the driver has been nominated to the issuer. Enter the Nominated on date.
- Disputed: the fine is being contested.
- Paid: needs the Paid on date.
- Waived: the issuer withdrew it.
- Closed: nothing more to do.
Change the status in the form. Onyx does not send the nomination to the issuer — do that the usual way, then record it here.
There is no delete.
